Abortion activist throws urine on College of William & Mary pro-life students
Update 10/6/22: The pro-abortion student who threw urine and pro-life students at the College of William & Mary in Virginia has been arrested on October 3, and charged with two counts of assault. The pro-life students are members of Students for Life of America.
“We are grateful to the William & Mary Police Department for effectively doing their jobs and protecting our pro-life free speech,” Students for Life of America’s president Kristan Hawkins said. “Hopefully, this arrest will remind the intolerant abortion lobby that they cannot get away with such abusive behavior towards pro-lifers. Regardless, the Pro-Life Generation will continue speaking the truth in love wherever we go.”
9/22/22: Pro-life students at the College of William & Mary in Virginia were assaulted in a horrific way, simply for having a pro-life display in place.
Students for Life of America (SFLA) has been traveling the country for its Abortion Is Not Right Fall 2022 Campus Tour, and recently stopped at the College of William & Mary. Present at the event was student Jonathan Kenney, a member of William & Mary’s Tribe for Life. Together, the groups had put up an Abortion Is Not Right display, hoping to have respectful conversations with other students.
Instead, a pro-abortion activist threw a cup of urine on Kenney and the other pro-life students.
“Naturally, I was pretty grossed out and disappointed by these actions,” Kenney said in an interview with SFLA. “Such behavior is unacceptable and disrespectful, especially coming from someone on William & Mary’s campus. William & Mary has a standard of honor and excellence.”

Campus police are currently investigating, but the person responsible for the assault is still not known. This is not the first time pro-life students at William & Mary have faced harassment. Other pro-life displays have garnered pro-abortion counter-protests, including at least one organized by a Planned Parenthood student group. Other pro-life displays have been destroyed and vandalized.
Another group of pro-abortion students created a “Tribe for Death” page, meant to harass the campus pro-life group. Calling themselves “pro abortion” and “anti pregnancy,” the group posted on its bio, “Hey there tribe for life [kiss-face emoji] DISCLAIMER: this account is 100% a joke aimed only at clowning our campus’s anti abortion group.”
They also compared a preborn child to a blob of jelly in someone’s hand, before the video cut to someone making a sandwich. The caption read, “Hey @tribeforlifewm do you want a sandwich?”
Pro-life students have faced increased harassment, violence, and vandalism by abortion advocates on college campuses across the country. Yet time and time again, these courageous pro-life students refuse to let themselves be intimidated into giving up on the fight for life.
