The North Star Fellowship
Forming a generation of pro-life leaders shaping policy, media, and faith.
Every generation inherits the responsibility of cultivating a culture of life in its churches, schools, families, media outlets, nonprofit organizations, and public institutions. The future of the pro-life movement depends in large part on the men and women willing to accept that responsibility.
The North Star Fellowship is established to equip rising leaders for this important work.
Through academic formation, an in-person summit, mentorship from experienced professionals, and a capstone project, fellows deepen their understanding of the issues shaping the pro-life conversation while cultivating the relationships and practical skills necessary to influence culture within their own fields.
The Fellowship's particular focus is the defense of preborn children, the strengthening of marriage and family life, and the renewal of a culture that recognizes the dignity of every human person.

Fellows come from a variety of professional backgrounds and are all intellectually curious, eager to grow in their understanding of the issues shaping our nation, and motivated by a desire to work alongside others who are committed to building a culture that welcomes and protects human life.
The Fellowship Experience
North Star Fellows will participate in a three-phase formation experience over the course of one year, beginning with formational seminars, the North Star Summit, and followed by the Fellowship capstone project.
Phase I
Formation Classes
The Fellowship begins with a series of virtual seminars and assigned readings exploring the philosophical, theological, scientific, legal, and cultural foundations of the pro-life movement.
Fellows engage with leading scholars and practitioners while developing a deeper understanding of the questions surrounding human dignity, marriage and family life, religious liberty, public policy, and cultural engagement.
Phase II
North Star Fellowship Summit
Orange County, CA
Fellows gather in person for an intensive leadership summit featuring lectures, workshops, panel discussions, mentorship opportunities, and small-group conversations.
The Summit provides an opportunity to learn directly from experienced leaders while forming relationships with peers working across media, ministry, education, law, public policy, and nonprofit leadership.
Fellows have the opportunity to sit down with leading academics in the pro-life world to discuss their professional goals and capstone projects. Both fellows and academic instructors have noted the relationships formed at the North Star Fellowship Summit as one of the most valuable aspects of the program.
Phase III
Capstone Project
Each fellow completes a capstone project designed to apply the principles learned throughout the Fellowship, paired with their professional backgrounds.
Projects may take the form of a variety of mediums, including research papers, media productions, podcasts, policy proposals, educational initiatives, or other efforts that educate pro-life advocates and advance the cause for life.

Meet the Fellows
North Star Fellows come from a wide range of professions and callings. Each of our fellows have demonstrated a commitment to thoughtful leadership and meaningful cultural engagement.
The Fellowship is intentionally interdisciplinary. A pastor may find himself learning alongside a journalist. A policy professional may collaborate with a filmmaker. An attorney may share ideas with a nonprofit executive. One of the Fellowship’s defining strengths lies in fostering collaboration and networking among fellows from a wide array of disciplines.

Fellows are welcomed into a vibrant community committed to advancing a culture of life. Through ongoing formation and networking opportunities, our alumni remain connected to one another, working together to form a nation that reveres God’s plan for life, family, and marriage.
Commitment & Program Details
Participating in the North Star Fellowship requires a meaningful investment of time and engagement. Before applying, applicants should carefully consider the program expectations.
Fellows are expected to:
Attend ten live virtual formation sessions held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 ET on the following dates: February 2 and 16; March 2, 16, and 30; April 13 and 27; and May 11, 18, and 25.
Complete approximately 30-40 pages of assigned reading before each formation session.
Attend the five-day North Star Fellowship Summit in Orange County, California, in early June 2027.
Develop and complete a professional capstone project that applies the principles of the Fellowship to advance a culture of life through their own field and expertise.
Accepted fellows receive a $1,500 travel stipend, five nights of lodging, and most meals to attend the Summit.
