Wendy Davis donates to Planned Parenthood after fetal parts video released

Yesterday, blogger Saynsumthn caught former Texas gubernatorial candidate and notorious late-term abortion defender Wendy Davis showing her support for Planned Parenthood by donating $100 in matching funds to the organization in honor of president Cecile Richards’ birthday:

This comes on the heels of the now-viral video showing Planned Parenthood Medical Services Director Dr. Deborah Nucatola describing in detail how she and other Planned Parenthood abortion providers procure specific fetal body parts during (some possibly illegal) abortion procedures, selling them for $30 – $100 each.

As Saynsumthn notes in detail, Davis was supported heavily during her gubernatorial campaign with abortion industry dollars from NARAL and Planned Parenthood.

In 2013, Wendy Davis became the abortion industry’s darling after she filibustered a bill for 11 hours in the Texas Senate (which eventually passed despite her efforts), banning abortions after 20 weeks gestation and holding abortion centers to the same standards as surgical centers. Though Democrats pinned their hopes on her candidacy in 2014, she lost her gubernatorial bid to current Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
