According to ABC7 News, "This will mark the first time a sitting second lady has had a baby while in office, but it's not without precedent for first ladies."

USA Today added further context, writing, "No wife of a sitting vice president is believed to have ever given birth while her husband was in office. The last wife of a sitting president to give birth was Esther Cleveland, wife of Grover Cleveland, in 1893. First lady Jaqueline Kennedy, wife of President John F.
