NARAL uses clip of Disney’s Baby Moana to promote abortion
NARAL Pro-Choice America recently tweeted a spliced clip promoting abortion, using a scene from a Disney animated movie in which a cartoon toddler appears to scream at the thought of pro-life policies.
In the tweet, NARAL used a clip of a cartoon toddler girl playing a game on a tablet, and spliced in an interview with presidential candidate Ron DeSantis discussing his political views on pro-life policies. The little girl then screams in horror.
“A Ron DeSantis presidency would be a horror movie come to life,” the ad quips.
You can see the original scene, which features Baby Moana, from “Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet” here. In it, two characters — Ralph and Vanellope — wreak havoc on Moana’s game, which is what causes her to scream:

The audacity of using a children’s movie to promote abortion cannot be overstated. In this instance, NARAL is trying to argue that a toddler would be horrified by the thought of pro-life policies — policies protecting preborn children — when in reality, children are much more likely to see abortion as horrific.

A good example of how surviving children actually feel about abortion is by examining those whose siblings were aborted. “I’ve always felt like someone was missing from my life,” one surviving sibling said. “I used to not even talk about what happened and I struggled for a while quietly. […] I will always wonder the course life would have taken had my sibling been afforded the gift of life.”
Others have said they wished they could know the sibling they lost. “I was astounded by my reaction, but I couldn’t shake the sadness and longing to have known him,” another sibling wrote.
There is a constant cultural push to not only promote abortion to the masses, but to promote it to children as well — to begin indoctrinating children into the pro-abortion view as early as possible. Planned Parenthood has called for Disney to create a princess who has an abortion. The NBC medical drama “New Amsterdam” covered the reversal of Roe v. Wade with a scene in which multiple parents stare tearfully at their children, as if their futures will now be utterly ruined without the unrestricted ability to kill their children in the womb.
Induced abortion is the intentional taking of an innocent preborn child’s life. Using cartoon children to promote it is shameless.
