Arkansas man accused of raping child, brutally beating her to kill her preborn baby
Wade Lawrence Green of Bentonville, Arkansas, has been arrested and charged with the rape of multiple young girls, including one whom he allegedly brutally beat in order to cause an abortion.
Green has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including two counts of rape and one count of concealing a birth.
Allegations against Green involving the sexual assault of a child date back to 2020.
One of his alleged victims called the police and said a "bad man" was abusing children at his home.
Police interviewed the children, one of whom said Green impregnated her, and then violently beat her and assaulted her until her preborn baby died.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office has arrested Green, who has been accused of felony sex charges involving multiple children. He began abusing one of his alleged victims, whose name and age have not been released, in 2020 when she began living in the same home with him. The abuse eventually stopped in 2023 when she moved out, but not before the young girl became pregnant.
Joshua Robinson, chief deputy prosecuting attorney said she and Wade's other victims were "known to him." He explained, "They were not strangers. He had some sort of relationship with them or their family.”
The affidavit, obtained by KFSM, said, "[Redacted] stated the abuse from Wade started when she was 10 or 11. She said Wade would tell her that he wanted her to grow up and eventually be his wife and that it wasn't pedophilia because they loved each other."

When the young girl became pregnant, Green allegedly became violent and attempted to force a rudimentary at-home abortion. He repeatedly punched her in the stomach and shoved a metal rod inside of her. Eventually, she did give birth at home alone, and though she wasn't sure, she believed the baby was stillborn. It is not known how far along she was. She said Green took the baby's body, placed it in a bag, and took it away; he threatened to release videos of her being raped if she told anyone.
Just weeks later, he began raping her again, and the abuse only stopped once she was no longer living with him.
Robinson said the case is “uniquely disturbing."
"There's so many layers of harm and frankly, torture to the victims in this case. Psychological trauma, physical trauma. It's an incredibly disturbing case," he said. "It's a very serious case. So anytime a person is charged with rape, which would be the highest level charge in this case, that carries a potential life sentence. And if they're under 14 and force or violence was used, then it's automatic life imprisonment, and so we have that on the table in this case."
Wade is being held in Benton County Jail on a $500,000 bond. He is due in court on December 22.
Abusers frequently use abortion as a tool to hide their crimes from police and continue to commit them. While in this instance an abortion facility was not involved, abusers frequently take their victims to facilities including Planned Parenthood, where staffers often don't ask questions or report potential abuse of minors as required.
As Live Action’s Aiding Abusers investigation found, there has been a systemic, decades-long cover-up of child sexual abuse at Planned Parenthood. The multi-part video series covered sex trafficking, recorded cases, interviews with former workers, and more. Real-life predators are also known to have been aided by Planned Parenthood, where staffers have been caught encouraging traffickers and abusers to pose as the parents of minors and lie about the ages of their victims.

Pregnancy can ultimately be what causes abusers to get caught, which is why abortion is such a commonly used tool to keep their crimes secret and allow the abuse to continue. Green's case is just another disturbing example.
