"We are going to answer to a Holy Creator, who is the author of life. We don't have the right to take life away. We are going to stand before God... which will be the most important second of our existence. Did we make our decisions, and did we come up with our beliefs based upon that moment of going "I'm before you, God. Did I value the way that you thought, and the way you taught? Or was I swayed by my desires, what's popular, and what the culture is saying? The Bible says 'If He shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.' Jesus himself said 'If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first,' so we have to stop playing this game of me thinking 'If I say this just right, maybe I can get everyone to still like me'" I have to explain: "If you kil* that life inside of you, you will answer to a Holy God one day for that, and out of love I have to say 'don't do it - there are other options, and this is far bigger than you realize.' It would be so unloving for me to not say that and just let you come before God at the end of your life. We must also say to those who have done this: 'There is forgiveness. His throne is a throne of grace and we can approach him and find mercy in a time of need'"
