Planned Parenthood’s breast exams decline for third straight year

Planned Parenthood, which often touts its breast exams in media interviews, continued to see a decline in breast exam & care services.

Following the release of the video a statement to the Washington Post, Planned Parenthood claimed that they never said that they offered mammograms and were speaking in general about women’s health services. In 2012, many Planned Parenthood supporters were fooled themselves and continued to spout the debunked line about mammogram services.

President Obama was one of the leading figures to repeat this falsehood, which was captured and debunked in a 2012 Live Action video that fact-checked his statements on the issue.
