Lila's Rose statement on DNC abortion platform

(July 25, 2016) — “The veil is lifted, and the abortion lobby and its political allies are showing America how extreme and pro-abortion — not ‘pro-choice’ — they really are. The draft Democratic Party platform demands that taxpayers fund abortions, opposes limits on abortion — including when a child in the womb can feel pain, and pledges to continue sending a half billion dollars a year of taxpayer’s money to the largest abortion chain in America — a chain that kills over 320,000 preborn babies each year. We call on all of our nation’s leaders — no matter what their political party — to reject the extremism of Planned Parenthood and vow to protect our most vulnerable, our innocent children in the womb.”
