Another woman injured at dangerous Colorado Planned Parenthood

The Planned Parenthood facility in Fort Collins, Colorado, which has already killed at least one woman, has sent another woman to the emergency room.

Key Takeaways:

  • On April 10, a woman who had undergone an abortion the day prior returned to the facility complaining of "moderate bleeding" and chest pain.

  • The emergency was ranked "Charlie Medical" by dispatch, indicating a potentially life-threatening condition, though full details still are not known.

  • This Planned Parenthood has a history of injuring women, and has killed at least one patient: 18-year-old Lexi Arguello.

The Details:

According to pro-life watchdog group Operation Rescue, sidewalk counselors reported seeing an ambulance arrive at Planned Parenthood in Fort Collins, Colorado, earlier this month. After securing the EMS dispatch, it was discovered that a 19-year-old patient had undergone an abortion on April 9; the next day, April 10, she returned to the facility.

According to the 911 audio, the woman complained of "moderate" bleeding and chest pain. Planned Parenthood staffers claimed the bleeding is normal, though there was no potential explanation given for the chest pain.

The dispatcher listed the emergency as "Charlie Medical" priority, which indicates a potentially life-threatening situation. It's a scenario that has played out at this particular Planned Parenthood facility before, leading to at least one death.

The Backstory:

In 2025, 18-year-old Lexi Arguello died after undergoing a 22-week abortion at the facility, in which she experienced an amniotic fluid embolism (AFE), a known complication of abortion. The AFE caused a disseminated intravascular coagulation, in which there is abnormal clotting in the blood vessels. This leads to widespread, uncontrollable bleeding, and is highly fatal if not treated quickly.

Unfortunately for Arguello, Planned Parenthood staff did not seem to take the situation seriously.

According to Dr. Keri Kasun, who testified during an investigation into Arguello's death, Planned Parenthood delayed her transfer to the hospital by instructing emergency responders to turn off lights and sirens. This is a tactic often used by the abortion industry in an effort to avoid bringing attention to the injury.

There have been other injuries at the Fort Collins Planned Parenthood facility this year — totaling four of more that are known.

The Bottom Line:

“It is an outrage that this Fort Collins Planned Parenthood continues to operate with no oversight and not one investigation despite the death of Lexi Arguello and multiple subsequent emergencies," Operation Rescue president Troy Newman said in a statement. "Operation Rescue will continue to call for stricter safety regulations, complication reporting, and the necessary transparency that allows women to understand the very real risks of abortion. Our prayers are with the 19-year-old woman involved in this latest incident and with all women who enter these facilities seeking help, unwittingly facing dangerous consequences.”
