Two more women injured at Colorado Planned Parenthood
A Planned Parenthood facility in Fort Collins, Colorado, which was responsible for the death of a teen last year, has injured two more women. Just weeks ago, another patient suffered an injury there.
Emergency responders were called to the Planned Parenthood in Fort Collins, Colorado, after two women were injured this month.
The injuries occurred just weeks after another woman was injured.
Last year, 18-year-old Lexi Arguello died after undergoing an abortion at the same facility.
Operation Rescue reports that two women were injured in back-to-back emergencies at the Planned Parenthood abortion business in Fort Collins, Colorado, this month. One of those injuries was flagged as potentially life-threatening.
In the first incident, occurring on March 4, paramedics were called to the facility for a "Charlie Medical" emergency, which Operation Rescue explains is a signal for a potentially life-threatening injury.
Though Operation Rescue has requested a recording of the 911 call and records through the Freedom of Information Act, based on past experience, the group doesn't expect to glean much information from the records when they arrive.
“Given past patterns in similar cases, it is reasonable to expect that when those records are finally disclosed, they will be heavily redacted—leaving critical details about what happened hidden from public view,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue.
The second incident occurred just days later, on March 11, when paramedics were called because a 40-year-old woman was experiencing "heavy" bleeding following an abortion. A second ambulance was also called to the scene that day.
“It is safe to say that blood loss is never routine. In any clinical setting, even a small hemorrhage can escalate rapidly, leading to shock, organ failure, or worse if not promptly controlled. Even without full clarification that unredacted 911 records could reveal, the current context points to a serious and potentially unstable condition,” Newman said of the incident.
The Fort Collins Planned Parenthood is no stranger to injury. A report released earlier this month revealed that in January, two ambulances were called to the facility — one to bring blood to the scene — insinuating that the 30-year-old patient was experiencing either significant hemorrhage or shock.
Last year, 18-year-old Lexi Arguello died after undergoing a 22-week abortion at the facility. Arguello died of an amniotic fluid embolism (AFE), a known complication of abortion. Because of the AFE, she developed disseminated intravascular coagulation.
According to Dr. Keri Kasun, who testified during an investigation into Arguello's death, the Planned Parenthood facility delayed her transfer to the hospital by instructing emergency responders to turn off lights and sirens — a tactic often used by the abortion industry so as not to attract attention to the injuries that are occurring behind closed doors.
Abortion facilities are killing preborn children and routinely harming women to such a degree that emergency medical professionals are called. Abortion is marketed as "routine healthcare," but there is nothing routine about procedures that intentionally kill babies and often injure women.
