Three women injured at dangerous Denver Planned Parenthood

Pro-life watchdog group Operation Rescue reports that three medical emergencies occurred at Park Hill Planned Parenthood in Denver, Colorado, earlier this year, marking a continued uptick in abortion injuries in a state where a young woman died following a botched abortion in 2025.

Key Takeaways:

  • Operation Rescue has reported three injuries occurring within three months at the Park Hill Planned Parenthood in Denver, Colorado.

  • The facility commits later abortions up to 25 weeks of pregnancy.

  • Abortion businesses are the not required to be licensed or inspected in the state of Colorado.

  • In 2025, 18-year-old Lexi Arguello died following a botched abortion she received at a Planned Parenthood in the state.

The Details:

Of the three most recent reports, the first 911 call occurred on March 10, with a report of a 31-year-old patient experiencing "high heart rate." The computer-aided dispatch (CAD) report was marked “37C02," which Operation Rescue notes indicates suspected acute heart problems, or could even mean a heart attack.

On April 7, emergency medical personnel were called for a 26-year-old patient experiencing  “chest pain that goes to the back.” The CAD was marked with the same 37C02 code.

The third incident occurred on May 27, when 911 was called for a patient who was "bleeding extensively." The CAD report also noted, “There is SERIOUS bleeding.”

Zoom In:

The Park Hill Planned Parenthood facility advertises surgical abortions up to 25 weeks of pregnancy — well past the typical age at which babies can survive outside the womb. As Live Action News has previously reported, late stage abortions are much more dangerous when committed outside a hospital setting, which could lead to more injuries to women.

Operation Rescue notes that it has documented eight injuries to abortion clients at the Park Hill facility over the past two years. In 2025, abortion injuries in Colorado alone made up nearly one-third of the total injuries reported by the organization. The state is also home to the Fort Collins Planned Parenthood, were 18-year-old Lexi Arguello died following a botched abortion last year.

Despite the high number of injuries, abortion businesses are not required to be licensed or undergo safety inspections in the state of Colorado.

“Women are being brutally injured in growing numbers at these unregulated, unlicensed clinics, and officials are doing nothing. It’s abhorrent, and clearly indicates Colorado does not care about women," said Sarah Neely, Operation Rescue COO. "It cares about making sure babies can be killed through all nine months of pregnancy, and that those doing the killing receive the highest level of protection from any consequences.”

The Bottom Line:

Operation Rescue president Troy Newman blasted the state for continuing to turn a blind eye at the injuries occurring inside the state's abortion businesses.

“In the name of ‘abortion access,’ Colorado officials continue to not only allow, but intentionally foster back-alley abortion operations across the state,” Newman said. “No other ambulatory center in Colorado is allowed such privilege and protection — abortion clinics, alone, are exempt from licensing, inspections, and regulation. And they certainly don’t undergo any investigation, even when they kill a young 18-year-old girl or injure multiple women."
