Olivia Rodrigo's all-woman music festival will fund abortion groups
Singer and pro-abortion activist Olivia Rodrigo has just launched an all-female music festival that sold out almost immediately — and some of the proceeds will go to abortion groups.
The Daisy Chain Fields Festival will donate 100% of the concert proceeds to non-profit organizations for women and girls... and several of them are abortion groups as well as abortion-supporting organizations.
Olivia Rodrigo is a pro-abortion advocate, and has even received an award from Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion chain.
She announced the launch of her Daisy Chain Fields Festival, an all-female concert with singers like Chappell Roan, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks.
100% of the proceeds from the festival, to be held in Irvine, California on August 29, will go to organizations dedicated to helping women and girls.
Several of the organizations are abortion organizations, including the Center for Reproductive Rights and Planned Parenthood.
Rodrigo is an outspoken abortion activist who previously found herself in hot water for partnering with the National Network of Abortion Funds (NNAF) to hand out emergency contraception and information on how to get an abortion at her concerts, where children make up a large portion of the attendees. Eventually, Rodrigo was forced to stop the initiative, which included handing out condoms and lubricants, after the backlash became too loud to ignore.
She launched a pro-abortion fund, giving $2 million from her Guts World Tour proceeds. Among the recipients was NNAF.
Last year, she accepted the Catalyst for Change award from Planned Parenthood of Greater New York at their annual gala. Upon accepting her award, she insinuated that women cannot be successful without access to abortion:
"We live in a world that politicizes our bodies and uses harmful ideologies to deny us safety and health care. And it breaks my heart to think that, because of oppressive laws and outdated policies, some of those girls may not get to follow their dreams the way I’ve been able to follow mine."
Rodrigo announced the Daisy Chain Fields Festival on Instagram, which will feature an all-female lineup consisting of past and present all-stars. The festival will take place on August 29 in Irvine, California.
She also made it clear that the festival is political in nature in her Instagram caption.
"Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls," she wrote. "The lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that."
The performers, according to People, include Rodrigo herself, along with:
... Chappell Roan, KATSEYE, Doechii, Mitski, Rachel Chinouriri, Bikini Kill, Garbage, the Breeders, Eli, Not For Radio, Santigold, Die Spitz and Quiet Light. An official poster for the Irvine festival also teases "special guests" Stevie Nicks, Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and [Sarah] McLachlan.
All of the festival's proceeds will go to 10 organizations, at least three of which are abortion organizations: Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and the National Institute for Reproductive Health. (Several of the other organizations appear to partner with pro-abortion groups in some way.)
Presale tickets sold out within an hour.
The Center for Reproductive Rights celebrated the partnership on X, writing, "Excited barely begins to cover it. We cannot wait to come together with so many incredible artists and organizations at #DasiyChainFields to fight for the rights of women and girls everywhere!"
Of course, abortion inherently denies the most intrinsic life — the right to life — to millions of preborn girls across the globe, to say nothing of the damage it causes to post-abortive women. Yet, according to People, "For Rodrigo, the event is a dream come true, as well as her way of pushing back on the 'cruelty in the world' today."
It seems Rodrigo and her associates would prefer to ignore the cruelty of abortion itself:

Parents of children who are Rodrigo's fans should be aware of her extreme support for the killing of preborn human beings before they decide if they will continue to buy her albums and attend her concerts.
