Lila Rose encourages crowd at March for Life: ‘You are the voice for those who have no voice’
Live Action founder and president Lila Rose addressed the crowd today at the 52nd March for Life, reminding participants that everyone has the power to fight for preborn children, as “abolishing abortion is the most important human rights cause of our time.”
In opening, Rose shared that a recent debate she had with a pro-abortion professor at Georgetown University resulted in a student in the audience changing her mind about abortion as she realized the humanity of the preborn child.
“This is half the battle — showing up,” Rose told the cheering crowd. “All of you here have the power to change minds — at the dinner table, on campuses, at soccer games. You can change minds. You are the voice for those who have no voice.”
She reminded those watching that everyone can advocate for the preborn. They just need the courage.
“Remember, the science is on our side. Natural law is on our side. The truth is on our side,” she said. “We must simply have the courage to speak the truth with love. Courage is contagious. One change of heart can save a life. We must also speak the truth to our elected officials. We can start by demanding that they defund Planned Parenthood and give that 700 million dollars to pregnancy resource centers instead.”

She went on, “Most importantly, we must urge our elected officials to abolish abortion. Abolishing abortion is the most important human rights cause of our time,” she stated. “One million of our unborn brothers and sisters are killed every year by abortion.”
Rose also thanked President Trump and Vice President Vance for pardoning 23 pro-lifers who had been convicted of FACE Act violations under the Biden administration, noting that she was inspired by the love and heroism of those pro-lifers.
“We can usher in a new golden age for America when we protect every life from the moment of conception. This is our moment,” she encouraged the marchers, saying, “Make America pro-life again!”
