Louisiana House debates abortion ban

The Louisiana State House of Representatives is debating a bill this afternoon to ban abortion entirely. The floor debate should take place within the next hour or so. The bill is HB 645.

Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi are all considering legislation this year (in Mississippi, a constitutional amendment) that would ban abortion entirely in each state.
