North Carolina’s new law didn’t outlaw ‘health care.’ It outlawed this.

Abortionist tells patient she’s about to ‘sign this life away’
A woman decided to have a late-term abortion because the baby had spina bifida, and would likely be in a wheelchair. Some techniques of late-term abortion require a woman to go through labor, and she wanted to avoid that, so she opted to have her child dismembered in a D&E abortion procedure. In this type of abortion, the abortionist dismembers the baby with forceps, pulling out pieces (arms, legs, etc) and the baby is usually alive and conscious as he or she is torn apart.
Clinics usually insert laminaria, which are sticks that slowly open the cervix (neck of the womb) and are left in overnight on the night before the actual abortion.
When the doctor started inserting them, he said something very telling. In the words of the woman having the abortion:
Dear Reader,
Every day in America, more than 2,800 preborn babies lose their lives to abortion.
That number should break our hearts and move us to action.
Ending this tragedy requires daily commitment from people like you who refuse to stay silent.

Together, we can end abortion and create a future where every child is cherished and every mother is supported.
The process was to go in [to the clinic] the day before and have my cervix stimulated with… It’s like a little cigarette kind of, and stimulated the cervix opening. I remember going in there and having the doctor say, “Now once we do this, it’s not reversible, so this is the time you sign this life away.”
This doctor knows that he is killing a “life.”Read more abortion doctors and clinic workers talking about how they know abortion kills babies here.
For example, abortionist William Harrison said, in his essay on why he does abortions:
No one, neither the patient receiving an abortion, nor the person doing the abortion, is ever, at anytime, unaware that they are ending a life.
Incidentally, it is possible to have laminaria removed after the cervix has already begun to dilate. It was not too late for her to change her mind, although the risk of miscarriage would have been high, it is quite possible that the baby could have been saved in that situation, and the woman would not have been endangered.
