Run 4 Their Lives 5k to benefit women pregnant from rape

On May 24, Choices4Life will host a televised, pro-life 5k run in Houston, Texas. They are seeking runners, walkers, sponsors, and volunteers to join their effort to bring support to rape victims and their children.

Choices4Life was founded in 2011 by Juda Myers, a women who discovered as an adult that she had been conceived during a gang rape. She created Choices4Life in order to provide support to rape victims, including safe housing, relocation, counseling, medical assistance, and legal support.

By volunteering at or walking/running in the 5k, you will be helping to save lives. Run 4 Their Lives hopes to raise $150,000 to help fund Choices4Life’s goals for 2014. The money you help raise will provide women and their children with food, clothing, transportation to medical care, and housing. In addition, it will help run the 24-hour hotline for women who discover they are pregnant after rape. Choices4Life also provides adoption services, job assistance, and parenting classes.
