REPORT: Pregnancy centers provided record-setting care in 2024
A new report from the Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) revealed that material support provided to families and women by pro-life pregnancy resource centers in 2024 increased 48% from 2022, and client satisfaction rose to 98%.
According to a new report, pregnancy centers in the U.S. served a record number of clients in 2024.
The material support provided to women and families rose 48% from 2022 to 2024.
Pregnancy center client satisfaction also rose to 98%
Released on Monday, the 2025 National Pregnancy Center Report, titled "Pregnancy Centers: Rising to the Occasion with Unwavering Care," showed remarkable increases in pro-life pregnancy centers' support for women in 2024. It analyzed national survey data from pregnancy centers in all 50 states and found that the 2,775 centers in the U.S. provided a combined $452 million in total medical care, support and education services, and material goods in 2024.
According to CLI, the report also found:
Pregnancy centers saw 1,012,976 new clients in 2024.
8 in 10 centers provide free or low-cost medical services, staffed by over 10,000 medical professionals.
Material support provided rose by 48% from 2022, proving that pregnancy centers are stepping up to meet the needs of women and families after the fall of Roe v. Wade.
Pregnancy centers provided 6,353,386 packs of diapers, 1,604,996 packs of wipes, 4,980,839 baby outfits, and 373,531 cans of formula in 2024.
81% of pregnancy centers provide ultrasounds (636,514 of them in 2024), 92% provide material item services, and 85% provide prenatal/parenting education programs.
29% of pregnancy centers provide abortion pill reversal.
“As an Ob/Gyn physician, I am astounded by the numbers presented in this report because they represent thousands of lives saved and touched by the Christ-like support and skilled medical care provided by centers," said Dr. Sandy Christiansen, national medical director at Care Net. "From 2017 to 2024, there was a 60% increase in the number of ultrasound exams—each one affecting three lives: babies spared from death, and women and men protected from the heartache and risks associated with abortion. Priceless."
Client satisfaction also increased, according to the Client Satisfaction metric, up to 98% from 97.4% in 2022.
“Gaining points on a satisfaction level can be as hard as raising your grade point average,” said Jor-El Godsey, president of Heartbeat International. “Yet by bringing woman-focused consistent care and quality services, the pregnancy help movement has actually managed to improve upon an already high level of satisfaction.”
Clients shared why they are so satisfied with the support and care they received at pregnancy centers. A client from Nebraska said:
"They [Assure Women's Center] just didn’t judge me. That they were there because they cared about not only me, but also my baby was very critical and very important to me. It helped me a lot."
A client in Tennessee explained:
"I was going through a lot of stuff in my personal life and this was just a safe place for me where I could come and be open and honest about where I was at in my life. Portico was honestly the only place that gave me any kind of hope."
The CLI report — a partnership with CLI, Care Net, Heartbeat International, National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA), and Focus on the Family Option Ultrasound Program leadership in addition to state coalition leaders — noted, "As a rising tide lifts all boats, so too, the rise of pregnancy centers’ unyielding professional care and holistic support during this season of need is strengthening families and deepening the impact on American communities for good."
Despite pro-abortion efforts to undermine the work that pregnancy centers do, these pro-life organizations helped exponentially more women and families in 2024 than ever before.
This shows that despite the media's attempt to paint them in a poor light, women do trust pregnancy centers to care for them and their babies.
