Planned Parenthood opens its largest facility ever, and it’s in California
Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion corporation in the United States, has opened another of their mega-facilities. This one is the largest yet.
In Oakland, California, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte recently opened the Barbara Lee Oakland Health Center, a 12,000 foot facility with 19 exam rooms. The name is in recognition of Congresswoman Barbara Lee, who spoke openly about her own abortion during a House committee hearing in 2021. Lee, 78, is currently running for mayor of Oakland, and told the San Francisco Chronicle that she is thrilled to have a Planned Parenthood facility named after her.
“I am deeply humbled by this recognition,” she said in a statement. “To have a Planned Parenthood health center with my namesake is a great honor, and one I do not take lightly. It is because of the persistence, fight, and values of organizations like Planned Parenthood that we are able to continue pushing for reproductive justice. May this center be a symbol for all of those that stand up for women’s health care – and may we continue to lead the fight toward reproductive freedom for all.”
The facility will be part of the Planned Parenthood Mar Monte affiliate, the largest of all the abortion corporation’s affiliates. It also is one of the affiliates exposed in the baby body parts scandal, in which undercover journalists found members of the abortion industry reportedly selling the organs and body parts of the babies they aborted. In Mar Monte specifically, one whistleblower said abortionists left an abortion survivor to die, and the whistleblower was directed to remove the baby’s brain even as the child’s heart continued to beat.
Planned Parenthood spokesman Andrew Adams said the new mega-facility will, bizarrely, help revitalize Oakland’s downtown. How committing abortions will help to ‘revitalize’ a community was not explained.
“As Oakland is making a comeback from the pandemic, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte really wanted to visually demonstrate our commitment to the Oakland community and the revitalization of downtown Oakland in particular,” Adams told The Oaklandside. “The reality is, with abortion restrictions and restrictions on gender-affirming care increasing throughout the country, we’re seeing more and more patients who need to come to California and in particular Oakland to get essential health care.”
Planned Parenthood has become well-known for opening mega-facilities around the country, which then drives smaller, independent abortion facilities out of business. They have been referred to as the ‘Walmart of abortion clinics,’ to the consternation of others in the abortion industry.
