Only Green Bay abortion clinic now closed

Yesterday was the last day the only abortion clinic in Green Bay was in operation.  A new clinic operated by Bellin Health will open in its place, but the new clinic will not offer abortions.  According to a statement from Bellin Health:

Five OB/GYN physicians are joining Bellin Health to meet the increased demand for patient services. Pregnancy terminations will not be among the services provided at our newly-established clinic.

I have prayed many times outside the Medical Arts Building with the faithful Green Bay pro-lifers who never gave up in their witness on behalf of the preborn person. Finally, their prayers and consistent public protest have been rewarded. We thank God for His mercy, and together we will continue to fight for the recognition of the personhood and dignity of every preborn child throughout the State of Wisconsin.

Earlier this year, four Planned Parenthood clinics in the state of Wisconsin closed their doors on account of decreased state funding.
