NEW Planned Parenthood report: Staggering 400K abortions, skyrocketing taxpayer funding
Planned Parenthood used Mother’s Day weekend to release its 2023-2024 annual report revealing a staggering 402,230 abortions during that year — the most the corporation has ever reported to date. This is an increase of 2.42% from the 392,715 abortions Planned Parenthood reported last year.
As Congress debates whether to defund Planned Parenthood, this newly released annual report shows that taxpayer dollars granted to Planned Parenthood (for the year ending June 30, 2024) have risen by more than 13% from the $699.3 million recorded by Planned Parenthood in 2022-23 to a whopping $792.2 million recorded in 2023-24.
Between 2022-23 and 2023-2024, Planned Parenthood aborted an additional 9,515 preborn babies, while taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood rose nearly $93 million. The majority of government funding comes from Title X family planning funding and Medicaid reimbursements.
Read details of the report here.
Of the direct Title X family planning funding recipients in the U.S., 90% are not Planned Parenthood facilities. Nine out of 86 Title X grant recipients for 2024 were Planned Parenthood facilities — and of all Title X service sites, the abortion corporation makes up a small, single-digit percentage.
Nationally, in 2024, Planned Parenthood’s former “special affiliate,” the Guttmacher Institute, recorded an “underestimated” figure of 1,038,100 “clinician-provided” abortions (which doesn’t include all abortions) committed in states where abortion is legal. This reveals that Planned Parenthood is still capturing approximately 40% of the national abortion market share.
Live Action recently released an extensive and well-documented report listing Planned Parenthood’s vast array of abuses, which clearly show that it should no longer receive taxpayer funding.

The report reveals:
Planned Parenthood’s top priority is not the health and wellbeing of individuals; instead, it protects its own financial interests above all else.
Planned Parenthood targets minors with inappropriate sex education and “gender-affirming care.“
Planned Parenthood’s involvement in the trafficking of tissues obtained from aborted human beings.
Planned Parenthood has “repeatedly failed to abide by mandatory reporting laws regarding child sexual abuse.
Planned Parenthood has provided substandard “care” to the patients it purports to help (revealing 911 calls, health code violations, lawsuits, and client deaths).
Planned Parenthood has been accused of discriminatory and exploitative employment practices.
Planned Parenthood has been very effective at infiltrating schools, using curriculum which sexualizes children, normalizes and promotes risky and age-inappropriate sexual behavior, and undermines parental authority.
While recipients of federal taxpayer dollars are required to report child sexual abuse, protect patient privacy, and refrain from discriminating based on race and other characteristics, Planned Parenthood has repeatedly failed to comply.
Despite these concerns and abuses, the American taxpayer funneled $2.17 million dollars daily into Planned Parenthood last year, while the corporation ended the lives of 1,102 human beings daily by abortion — nearly 46 per hour, and one every 78 seconds.
