Former Planned Parenthood staffer describes how women were coerced and misled
A former Planned Parenthood staffer has added to the body of accusations against the abortion corporation, stating that it coerces women into abortions, sets abortion quotas, and covers up sex trafficking, in addition to advising abortion pill clients to 'flush' their babies down the toilet after seeing their recognizable body parts.
In a new video, former Planned Parenthood of Arizona health center administrator, Mayra Rodriguez, accused Planned Parenthood of coercing women into abortions.
Rodriguez is currently a witness in a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, accusing the state of coercing women into having abortions.
In addition to coerced abortion, Rodriguez claims Planned Parenthood has left body parts inside women, covered up abortion pill complications, and told women to flush their babies.
In a video published at StopAbortionCoercion.com, former Planned Parenthood of Arizona health center administrator, Mayra Rodriguez, accused Planned Parenthood of coercing women into abortions. She was fired from Planned Parenthood in 2017 after she reported a variety of fraudulent and negligent activities that endangered Planned Parenthood patients. She ultimately won a $3 million whistleblower lawsuit over the claims.
Now, according to The Daily Wire:
Rodriguez, who worked for Planned Parenthood for 17 years, is currently a witness in a lawsuit against the abortion giant and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz accusing the state of coercing women into having abortions. The suit says that Minnesota’s abortion laws violate the 14th Amendment rights of mothers and the Equal Protection rights of their unborn children.
Court records indicate that the lawsuit against the State of Minnesota was dismissed in August; however, the case was appealed before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals in September and remains ongoing.
Live Action News previously documented that many women have felt coerced by Planned Parenthood. Rodriguez confirmed this.
"So basically, we trained the staff to upsell abortion" to meet abortion quotas, Rodriguez claimed. She also emphasized that Planned Parenthood would train staff to mislead women into having abortions, because, she said, "It's easy money." She added:
"It's very easy for them to make money; there's hardly any responsibility, or legal backlash to them, right? They make them sign this form that says 'you could die today' and as long as their signature is there, they're covered and protected...
... I got to witness, or heard the statement from staff telling me, 'hey the patient in the room asked the doctor to stop and he didn't.' He said, 'nah, it's too late, I've already started' and he had not even started."
In one example, University of Toledo Medical Center doctor Hassan-James Abbas was recently indicted by a Lucas County Grand Jury on multiple felony charges, after he forcibly administered abortion pills to the victim when she refused to abort his child.
In the video, Rodriguez recounted that, after a co-worker examined aborted parts from a surgical abortion client, she discovered there was a "missing head" from the remains of the 14-week baby.
Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) explained:
Mayra recalled one harrowing story of a 19-year-old who had an abortion through dismemberment. The abortionist was supposed to account for all the baby’s body parts, but he allegedly made an assistant do so instead. She told him she was unable to find the baby’s head, but he had already inserted an IUD into the patient.
Mayra said the assistant told her as it was happening, and when she confronted the abortionist about it, he told her to “go find one in the trash.”
“At that moment, I’m going to confess, that something not only shocked me, because at this point I wasn’t shocked by anything he said, but angered me,” Mayra said. She said the doctor had to remove the IUD and complete the abortion after the ultrasound revealed the baby’s head was still in the patient’s womb.
"Finally... we performed the ultrasound and I found the head above the IUD in that patient. And, she needed to have another abortion," Rodriguez claimed, adding that the doctor "refused to even document [the incident] in the chart."
Rodriguez also recounted hearing about a 23-week aborted baby who "came out alive."
"They had taken it to the products of conception room," she said. "And later I was told by a co-worker that it came out alive. And they let him die in that bassinet and [did] not seek any medical help."
Women self-managing their abortions with the abortion pill are regularly advised to sit on a toilet and flush their babies, and Planned Parenthood has been no exception, Rodriguez claimed. As a result, women have been traumatized by seeing the babies they have aborted.
Rodriguez recounted phone calls from clients in which they would say:
"So, you guys told me to push a blood clot on the toilet, and I tried to do that, but I didn’t make it. And it’s not a blood clot; it’s actually a baby. So, what do I do?"
Rodriguez explained, "You're instructed to tell them to go ahead and grab it and throw it in the toilet, and flush and don’t look." She said the patients would say, "'But you told me it was just a blood clot, but I can actually see the hands, the feet, the face.’ And they will be crying...'You told me I was just going to feel like cramping like a period, but I think I'm dying.'

"You know, this is like a 19-year-old telling you, 'I'm in my dorm room and I think I'm dying of the pain - I'm bleeding so much that I think I'm going to die.' And you have to dismiss them by telling them, just put your feet up... you will be okay, call me back in the morning."
Lawsuits against abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, reveal that abortion drugs are prescribed well into the second and third trimesters despite the FDA limit of 10 weeks.
One lawsuit filed against Planned Parenthood accused the organization of miscalculating a woman’s pregnancy so egregiously that she painfully delivered a “fully formed” 30 to 36-week baby boy into a toilet. When she drove the body of her dead son back to the facility that sold her abortion drugs, she was allegedly told “not to call law enforcement.”
Rodriguez explained, "To me the abortion pill is a back-alley abortion. You're giving women a pill that she gets by mail. Now in many states they don't even ask them for ultrasounds to get the abortion pills. They don't even want to know how old [they are]. And this how we have cases of men putting abortion pill[s] in drinks for women. You know."
Rodriguez also claimed she got phone calls "in the middle of the night" about "clients excessively bleeding," specifically those related to taking abortion pills.
Medical malpractice attorney Michael Seibel explained to Live Action News:
A proper consent form would fulfill a physician's duty to warn of the relevant risks of the procedure, including the risk of death. However, it does not absolve them of liability for negligence or medical malpractice.
Seibel emphasized that "a patient could still sue," directing abortion clients to the website www.abortioninjury.com. He told Live Action News that "a proper consent form would also not insulate the manufacturer of the pill for any liability for [a] defective or inherently dangerous product."
Live Action News has documented that, for decades, Big Abortion has orchestrated a scheme to hide abortion pill complications by advising women to bypass the office or clinic of the prescriber (who is obligated under the drug’s FDA REMS requirements to report complications to the manufacturer) and present directly to an emergency room, falsely claiming that they are experiencing a natural miscarriage. This deception virtually guarantees that complications related to the abortion pill will never be reported to the manufacturer or the FDA.
Rodriguez confirmed this, alleging that Planned Parenthood told women "not to say that you had an abortion pill." According to Rodriguez, Planned Parenthood also told women, "'If you need to go to the hospital don't even tell them you took the pills because they will treat you differently.' Knowing that that would put their life at risk."
Live Action News previously documented similar statements made by former Planned Parenthood manager Sue Thayer.
Live Action News has documented the horrific way Planned Parenthood has failed to report child sexual abuse and sex trafficking. Rodriguez observed "the same man" bringing multiple women into the "Glendale facility," and said Planned Parenthood dismissed her concerns:
"I had been trained to detect trafficking of women - not that Planned Parenthood cared but it was forced by law that you have to at least know that you have attempted to distinguish when a woman was being trafficked. And that was my concern. And it was always 'Well, we'll look into it. We'll take care of it.' And nothing ever happened."
Live Action previously exposed Planned Parenthood's willingness to cover for sex traffickers. Recipients of federal taxpayer dollars are required to report sexual abuse — yet Planned Parenthood, which received $700M in government dollars last year alone, has repeatedly failed to comply.

"When you have to be the person signing off on 500 bodies a week to be cremated with trash from hospitals, you understand that what you have been selling has never been freedom — not for the mother and not for the child," said Rodriguez.
"What you have been selling, it’s pain and darkness, and it’s bloody. And it’s all about money."
