Dangerous abortion injury reported at notorious Kansas abortion facility
Another abortion client was reportedly injured at Trust Women, the notorious late-term abortion facility in Wichita, Kansas.
Trust Women was previously owned by the notorious late-term abortionist George Tiller, and later run by Julie Burkhart, who had worked with Tiller and been mentored by him.
The facility commits abortions through 22 weeks gestation, the legal limit in Kansas.
Staff called for an ambulance after an abortion injury in September, saying the emergency was "urgent."
Operation Rescue reported that yet another woman was injured at Trust Women in September. Operation Rescue was able to obtain the 911 audio and 911 detail report, which revealed how serious this emergency was.
In the 911 audio, the staffer said a 30-year-old patient began bleeding excessively during a "procedure," and the interventions taken at the facility were having no effect. "We need the EMS, urgent," the staffer said.
The staffer then said the patient was sedated and breathing, but added, "She’s, uh, on two liters of oxygen, she’s had quite a bit of sedation.” She also answered "no" when asked if the patient was pregnant, indicating the abortion had been completed, and reiterated that the bleeding was serious.
The report contained a code of “21D02," and Operation Rescue explained what that meant:
The “21” signifies a hemorrhage or laceration, while the “02” indicates the patient is unconscious. “D” or “Delta” is one of the highest priorities a call can be given. It signifies an imminent, life-threatening situation.
It was also listed as Priority E1, which often denotes the most serious, life-threatening emergencies. The patient's status is not known.
Trust Women is an abortion facility operating in the same building previously owned and operated by deceased late-term abortionist George Tiller. Julie Burkhart, who had worked with Tiller and been mentored by him, bought the building and founded Trust Women in his memory.
The facility was forced to temporarily close in 2024 though it reopened within two months. Allegedly, the co-executive directors, the medical director, and multiple staffers were fired without warning in April of that year. Those allowed to stay were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements; 10 of the facility’s 16 abortionists resigned in protest.
Burkhart owns other facilities in Wyoming and Illinois; her Illinois facility, the Hope Clinic for Women, has a long history of injuring women, as does the Trust Women facility in Kansas.
The abortion industry makes it out as if women need abortions, but in reality, women's lives are being put at risk, and it is not necessary to intentionally kill human beings before they are born.
