MEDIA ADVISORY: Yale University Hosts Lila Rose for Debate on Abortion and Human Rights
Live Action founder debates the former president of Catholics for Choice.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Live Action, one of the nation’s leading human rights organizations, announces that its Founder and President will engage in a debate titled Choice over Life on the campus of Yale University on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 7 pm ET.
In addition to leading Live Action, Rose is the author of Fighting for Life: Becoming a Force for Change in a Wounded World and the host of The Lila Rose Show podcast. Lila speaks internationally on family and cultural issues and has addressed members of the European Parliament and spoken at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
Rose will be debating the former president of Catholics for Choice, Francis Kisling. Kissling was raised Catholic and entered a convent as a young woman, but she later left religious life and has been a vocal critic of official Catholic teaching on abortion. Kissling has attended the Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program at Harvard and is currently a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Bioethics.
Hosted by the Yale University Political Union, the debate will take place at 53 Wall Street and include a dedicated student question and answer session.
