White House Decision to Allow Title X Taxpayer Funding of Planned Parenthood is Unacceptable and Must be Reversed
Washington, D.C. – The White House is allowing Title X federal government funding to continue going to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, keeping it eligible for a share of nearly $300 million in annual federal funds. This comes despite expectations that the administration would reinstate policies preventing taxpayer dollars from supporting the abortion industry.
After reviewing Biden-era grants, the administration chose not to cancel or redirect the funding, allowing it to move forward despite clear expectations from pro-life voters that these dollars would be stopped. The decision stands in contrast to the administration’s recent one-year Medicaid defund that was included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, showing a failure to apply the same standard across all federal programs.
This comes despite the clear precedent set during the first Trump administration, which implemented the Protect Life Rule to ensure that Title X funds were not used to support the abortion industry. Pro-life Americans expected that policy to be reinstated immediately.

“The Trump administration’s decision to keep Title X federal funding going to Planned Parenthood is unacceptable. Taxpayer dollars should never be used to prop up America’s largest abortion business. Planned Parenthood exists to end the lives of preborn children, and every dollar it receives helps sustain an industry built on violence against the innocent.
This decision is a betrayal of the pro-life Americans who expected this administration to stand firmly against abortion and against the forced public funding of those who commit it. The American people should not be made to subsidize abortion businesses under the guise of women’s health. Title X funds should go to real health care providers that serve women and families without taking innocent human life. The administration should reverse course immediately and fully defund Planned Parenthood.”
The administration should act now to reinstate the Protect Life Rule and ensure that no Title X funding goes to Planned Parenthood or any organization that performs or promotes abortion.
It should also conduct a full review of current Title X grant recipients, terminate any awards benefiting abortion providers, and redirect those funds to community health centers and providers that offer comprehensive care without ending human life.
Anything less falls short of the clear mandate from pro-life voters.
