·Congressional Leaders, Experts Call for Permanent Defund on Capitol Hill
Washington, D.C. – On July 16, Live Action, one of the nation's leading human rights organizations, together with its Defund Coalition partners, will host a joint press conference on Capitol Hill urging Congress to permanently end taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood and abortion businesses.
Joined by Members of Congress and national pro-life leaders, the coalition will call on lawmakers to pass a new law similar to the provision that defunded Planned Parenthood to ensure that hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars are no longer used to subsidize the organization who killed over 430,000 preborn American children last year.
