FBI offers reward for attack on pregnancy center in Des Moines
A crime against a pro-life pregnancy center in Des Moines is the subject of an ongoing FBI investigation. Agape Pregnancy Resource Center was vandalized in dual attacks on both June 3 and July 4, 2022, and the latter included a related Agape building. Now the FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for any information that leads to the “identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for these crimes.”
As posted on an official FBI Most Wanted page, the Omaha Field Office is seeking the public’s help. It adds, “The damage included broken windows and spray-painted graffiti” and that “Spray-painted on the building were the statements, ‘FAKE CLINIC’ and ‘abortion 4ever’.”
This facility was one of many targeted after Politico published a leaked draft decision in the United States Supreme Court case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the case that ultimately overturned Roe v. Wade.
Jane’s Revenge, according to the Christian Post’s Ryan Foley, is “a pro-choice terrorist organization that has taken credit for multiple acts of vandalism against pro-life pregnancy centers and churches.” It also took responsibility for this vandalism. DSM Street Medics denied involvement in a tweet it shared at the request of those responsible:
The night of June 2nd, 2022 we vandalized Agape, a prominent crisis pregnancy center in a low income area of Des Moines, Iowa. Agape, like Innervisions, Birthright, and the many other crisis pregnancy centers in Iowa is a religious fake clinic that inflicts emotional, financial, and physical violence on people who need healthcare and support. They lie to, shame, and manipulate people into not getting abortions. Crisis pregnancy centers work to uphold patriarchy, christian supremacy, white supremacy, and cisheteronormativity. We broke windows and wrote messages of ‘god loves abortion’, ‘fake clinic’, ‘this is not a safe place’, and ‘stop lying’. It was fun and easy. Now is the time for action. Crisis pregnancy centers as well as the banks, businesses, and churches that support them are all responsible for the violence of forced birth.
We are not asking for the right to choose. Abortions are not safe and neither are you.
In solidarity, love, & rage,
Jane’s Revenge
But this isn’t the group’s only claim to criminal fame. As the Post points out, across the country in Buffalo, New York, the FBI’s Buffalo Press Office last November established a $25,000 reward for information leading to those responsible for the firebombing of the pregnancy center CompassCare the previous June—the same time frame as the first Des Moines attach. Jane’s Revenge took responsibility for this destruction also.

For anyone with information on the attack against Agape Pregnancy Resource Center, the FBI Omaha office phone number is (402) 493-8688. Individuals with information may also contact any local FBI office, as well as the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. Likewise, there is an online tip form at tips.fbi.gov.
