'Dancing with the Stars' wows fans with surprise pregnancy and gender reveal
Dancing With the Stars is having arguably its most pro-life season yet.
Dancer Witney Carson has been dancing while pregnant — with her baby is referred to as a third dance partner — and paralympian Ezra Frech discussed what it's like to dance with missing fingers and a prosthetic left leg.
Now, another cast member has shared that he and his fiancée are expecting a baby.
Tyler Cameron, who once appeared on The Bachelorette, is on this season of Dancing With the Stars.
On the October 20 episode, he and his fiancée announced they are expecting a baby during his dance.
After the dance, host Alfonso Ribeiro announced they would be holding a gender reveal right there on stage.
Pink confetti then burst through the air as the couple celebrated that they are having a girl.
Tuesday was Dedication Night on Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) and The Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron dedicated his dance with pro-dancer Sharna Burgess to mothers. It featured a voiceover by Cameron in which he spoke to his late mother, who died of a brain aneurysm in 2020. During that voiceover, his fiancée, Tate Madden, joined him on stage as Cameron said:
"Hey, Mama, there's so much I wish I could tell you. You would've loved the woman I'm gonna marry... she's going to be the most incredible mama, just like you. And we're gonna have a baby. I can't believe I'm gonna be a dad. Wish you were here. Hope that I make you proud. I love you and I miss you every day."

He finished the dance by kissing Madden's baby bump.
When the dance was complete, DWTS host Alfonso Ribeiro announced that the couple did not know if they are having a girl or a boy and that they would be doing a gender reveal right then and there. Pink confetti then burst through the air.
Cameron responded to the news, saying:
"I get to be a girl dad. What a gift."
As the judge got underway, judge Bruno Tonioli praised the couple for "dancing with three hearts beating as one."
Live Action founder and president Lila Rose responded to the announcement on X, "Beautiful... Babies truly are a blessing."
During the same episode on Tuesday, contestant Ezra Frech dedicated his dance to his mother. After the dance, he said, "I'm a shell of myself without my mother and the confidence that she instilled in me is the reason I'm able to walk around the dance floor with my prosthetic leg out...."
Tonioli called it "Absolutely so inspiring, life-affirming, really. Your positive attitude, your strength of character are unique. You really are a lesson to us all."
Life is always a gift — and this season, DWTS has shown that pregnancy does not have to keep women from pursuing their dreams and goals; people born with 'disabilities' are capable and worthy of life; and marriage, children, and family are worthy fighting for and celebrating.
