Do abortion and frozen pizza go together? One company apparently thinks so.
The pro-abortion group Plan C, which advocates for wider access to the abortion pill and promulgates that information online, recently attacked the frozen pizza company, DiGiorno, for removing Plan C's comment about abortion from DiGiorno's own social media post.
Apparently everything has to be about abortion — even frozen pizza.
DiGiorno, the frozen pizza company, recently featured it's tagline, "It's not delivery. It's DiGiorno." on its social media.
It allegedly wrote on Threads, "It's Not Delivery. It's ____."
The pro-abortion group Plan C commented "Abortion" and DiGiorno allegedly removed that comment.
Plan C was outraged at the comment's removal, and chose to repost the comment "abortion" on the original post.
It seems inappropriate and crass to 1) discuss abortion on a frozen pizza company's social media post, and 2) appear to joke that getting an abortion means you won't be 'delivering' a baby.
On September 19, DiGiorno allegedly posted its familiar tagline to Threads with a fill-in-the-blank option: "It's Not Delivery. It's ______."
Plan C replied in the comments: "Abortion."

Later, Plan C took to social media to complain that its comment on DiGiorno's post had been deleted. And it wasn't happy about it.
"I wanted to give them the opportunity to reflect and do the right thing, so I reposted the comment with a lowercase 'a' this time," Plan C wrote (emphasis added).
Eliza Orlins, a public defender, also jumped into the conversation, writing, "THEY DELETED THE POST. So, let's Streisand effect this s**t. Spread this screenshot far and wide. @plancpill's response deserves to be seen."
The 'Streisand effect' refers to an effort from Barbara Streisand to sue a photographer in 2003 for $50 million for violating her privacy with the publication of an aerial photograph of her home. But her efforts only made the photo more widespread.
Orlins accused DiGiorno of attempting to suppress Plan C Pills' comment. As the owner of the social media account, DiGiorno is free to block followers and delete comments.
What's odd is the fact that Plan C, which exists to promote abortion, feels it's acceptable to promote abortion (and itself) on a frozen pizza company's social media post, and then publicly complain when that comment is removed.
If Plan C meant to joke about how "It's Not Delivery [of a baby]. It's abortion," the joke seems, at the very least, insensitive.
Not the time. Not the place. Not funny.

Sadly, the abortion industry is dangerously unregulated. It has become nearly as easy to order the abortion pills to your home as it is to order a pizza for delivery.
Anyone can go to an abortion pill website, enter in some information, and have the pills shipped to them. Even abusive men have ordered the pills and forced their pregnant girlfriends to take them.
Some women who have had the abortion pill shipped to them have suffered adverse events such as hemorrhage, incomplete abortion, and life-threatening infections. The delivery of the abortion pill means death, delivered straight to a person's mailbox.
Induced abortion is not a joke. It's the direct and intentional killing of a living preborn human being. Shaming a pizza company for deleting an inappropriately placed comment shows how desperately pro-abortion groups want to normalize and trivialize abortion, and complain when someone doesn't agree.
