Until It Ends
"Until It Ends" is a Live Action annual 40-day campaign of sacrifice, prayer, and service to end abortion. This is an act of solidarity with other pro-life people in partnership to advocate for our preborn brothers and sisters. A reminder amidst our chaotic lives of the pain and suffering abortion causes, and a call to action to do something about it.
Why It Matters
Abortion has endured because it has been normalized, funded, and defended with relentless discipline. We will end it with greater discipline. When thousands of people choose a real cost and pair it with prayer and action, we can experience revival and victory.

40 Days of Sacrifice, Prayer, and Service
What you give up
You choose one daily enjoyment to surrender for the full 40 days. Pick something that costs you. Something you will notice. Examples include coffee, ice cream, alcohol, social media, streaming services, fast food, or video games.
What you commit to do
Every participant signs a pledge hosted by Live Action and chooses at least one concrete act of service to engage in alongside dedicated prayer during the reflection period. Options can be:
- Weekly volunteering at a pro-life pregnancy resource center
- Sidewalk outreach outside abortion facilities
- Peaceful public witness and local protesting
- A weekly donation, matched by the cost of what you gave up
- Hosting a small group gathering to recruit others into the pledge
Why June 24th?
On June 24, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in the landmark decision of Dobbs v. Jackson.
Dobbs was a turning point. Roe fell - and for the first time in half a century, abortion was no longer protected by an unjust court precedent.
The June 24th anniversary of Dobbs v. Jackson matters because it reminds the country that wins are possible. It also exposes a hard truth: too many people treated Dobbs like the end of the fight. They went back to normal, and abortion continued.
Abortion did not go away. Tragically, the killing by abortion is actually going up in our nation. The abortion pill is fueling a new wave of deaths, driven by abortion drugs ordered right from the cellphone. More preborn children are being killed, while even some pro-life Americans believe the crisis has passed.
Until It Ends begins after the Dobbs anniversary because that is the moment we choose resolve over complacency. Starting then, we enter a 40-day stretch of sacrifice and action that runs through August 2. Participants give up something they genuinely enjoy and use daily, and they pair it with intentional prayer and concrete service for the protection of the preborn. This becomes a yearly recommitment until abortion ends.
