Pro-life display at Ohio University vandalized by masked man wielding club

On Friday, a pro-life display at Ohio University was vandalized in broad daylight by a vandal wearing a mask and swinging a club.

Created Equal, the pro-life group behind the display, reports that the attacker appeared to mingle with the crowd for some time before suddenly donning a hood and mask to conceal his identity. He then approached the display, striking it wildly with what appears to be some sort of club. The crime was captured on video:

In the video, Created Equal staff can be heard calmly telling the attacker that he had no right to touch their equipment, and requesting that he back away. At one point, the culprit turns to face a pro-life activist, and points his weapon at him, in an apparent threat of violence. In an email about the incident, Seth Drayer, Created Equal’s Director of Training, wrote:

Mark Harrington, National Director of Created Equal, added in the email:

According to Created Equal, the man in the mask escaped before law enforcement arrived. Created Equal requests that anyone with information on the assailant contact OU Police at (740) 593-1911 or police@ohio.edu.
