Live Action investigations expose nearly two decades of Planned Parenthood violations

Sex abuse. Medical misinformation. Racism. Sex trafficking. Sex-selective abortion. Mothers killed. Abusive sex advice. False advertising. Cross sex hormones for minors. This reads like a laundry list of misdeeds, but it’s actually what a person might receive when she walks in the door of a Planned Parenthood facility.

Key Takeaways:

  • Planned Parenthood has been skirting a number of laws — all in the name of health care — for years. And Live Action has evidence of it.
  • The latest Live Action video is a compilation of snippets of undercover video and audio revealing that Planned Parenthood’s main objective isn’t providing health care.

The Details:

Live Action’s latest video compiles just some of the abortion business’ most egregious violations, all caught on tape, over the course of years of investigations that began in 2007.

Sex abuse

In this undercover video, an investigator posing as a young girl who says she is 13 asks for an abortion, then tells the Planned Parenthood employee that the man who impregnated her might be 31.

“Okay, I didn’t hear the age. I don’t want to know the age. It could be reported as rape,” the employee tells her, insinuating that she does not care if the investigator has been sexually abused. “You’ve seen him around. You know, he’s 14. He’s in your grade and whatever,” she instructs the young investigator. “So that’s that problem solved.”

Racism

In this audio recording, a purported donor says he wants to give money to Planned Parenthood, but only if it’s used for the killing of black preborn children.

“So, the abortion could could be, you know, I could give money specifically for a black baby. That would that be the purpose?” the man asks.

“Yeah, absolutely,” the Planned Parenthood staffer tells him.

“…We just think, you know, the less black kids out there, the better.”

“Understandable, understandable,” the staffer laughs.

Medical Misinformation

In this undercover video, a young woman can be heard asking if the preborn child has a heartbeat.

“Heart tones are at seven weeks,” the Planned Parenthood staffer tells her. “Heart beat is when the fetus is active in the uterus, can survive, which is about 17 or 18 weeks. That is not a baby. A baby is what’s born at 40 weeks. A fetus is what’s in your uterus right now.”

“So when does it become a baby?” the young woman asks.

“Birth,” the staffer answers.

Sex trafficking

In this 2011 undercover video, a man posing as a pimp tells the Planned Parenthood staffer that he is involved in sex work with girls as young as 14. Without hesitation, the worker instructs him to have the girls lie and say they are 15 or 16 when they need to come to the business for abortions — because it’s “easier.”

“What happens if they are 14?” he asks her.

The staffer then takes a piece of paper from her desk and says, “You never got this from me. Just to make all of our lives easier, if they’re 14, send them right there [circling an address] if they need an abortion, okay?” she laughs.

Sex-selective abortion

In this video, a Planned Parenthood employee is seen instructing a woman that she can abort her baby if she finds out it’s a girl, because it’s “your decision.”

Mothers killed

In this 911 audio, an employee from a Houston Planned Parenthood can be heard requesting an ambulance for a patient that was hemorrhaging. That patient, Tonya Reaves, died from her abortion injuries.

Abusive sex advice

This Planned Parenthood staffer is seen advising a 15-year-old girl that sex can involve abuse like asphyxiation, whipping, or tying up.

“Some guys like women to urinate on them,” the staffer says.

False advertising

Former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards is seen in an interview saying Planned Parenthood provides “prenatal care.” But in the next segment, Planned Parenthoods from around the nation are heard telling callers that it offers abortions — not prenatal care.

After this investigation, Planned Parenthood removed the “prenatal care” service from multiple facilities’ online listings.

Trans drugs to teens

Audio has an undercover caller posing as a 16-year-old girl asking Planned Parenthood for “gender affirming care,” saying she wants testosterone.

The Planned Parenthood worker tells her she is good to be seen, and doesn’t need therapy first.

Despite the girl saying she “just decided last week,” she is told she can come in for an appointment and have hormones in hand by the next day.
