Christian university lets Planned Parenthood recruit student volunteers, interns on campus

Yet another university under the Christian banner is partnering with Planned Parenthood.

Earlier this summer, the Texas Christian University advertised an internship with Planned Parenthood, even offering credit to students who completed an internship with Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas. Now Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, is doing the same. Whitworth says its mission “is to provide its diverse student body an education of the mind and the heart, equipping its graduates to honor God, follow Christ, and serve humanity.”

Catholic universities including Boston College, DePaul University and Georgetown have also partnered with pro-abortion organizations.

Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America, provided more details in an email:

More on those forensic studies here.

In the past 100 years, Planned Parenthood has aborted at least 6,803,782 unborn babies, documented in its own annual reports. However, as LifeNews notes, “the abortion chain was doing abortions prior to… Roe v. Wade in 1973,” so the actual number of Planned Parenthood’s abortion victims is probably higher.

The Center for Medical Progress released undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood allegedly trying to sell fetal tissue, which is illegal. The videos have sparked congressional hearings and several state investigations.

This makes it even more shocking that a Christian school or university would offer students credit to contribute time and energy to the nation’s largest abortion provider. And despite Planned Parenthood’s repeated claims that abortion only comprises 3 percent of its services, the organization commits more than 300,000 abortions annually:
