Planned Parenthood opens massive ‘flagship center’ in San Francisco

Planned Parenthood Northern California has opened a massive new “flagship” abortion facility in San Francisco.

According to CBS San Francisco, Planned Parenthood Northern California president Gilda Gonzales acclaimed, “We are one step further in ensuring people have more control over their lives, their health, and their future.” Planned Parenthood is responsible for committing hundreds of thousands of abortions per year — killing one preborn baby every 89 seconds, according to its most recent annual report — and its healthcare service offerings have been declining for years while its reported number of abortions continues to rise.

The new location consists of a 12,000-square-foot building in downtown San Francisco, in the upper class Nob Hill District just blocks away from Fisherman’s Wharf. According to Business Insider, the facility is projected to draw an estimated 13,000 women per year for “services.” In addition, the abortion giant plans to use the facility as a major hub for propagating its abortion activism, namely by hosting research and development, executive offices, an “education” office, fundraising, and other community events.

The organization, which illicitly received $80 million in Paycheck Protection Program funds last year, continues to receive taxpayer funding (over $616 million for its last reported year). Despite this, Gonzales claimed the $22 million abortion facility was “completely funded by donors,” according to CBS San Francisco. In addition, the abortion giant has even fought to obtain Paycheck Protection Program COVID relief funds in several states

One Planned Parenthood donor is the San Francisco-based Hellman Foundation, which as of 2019 had $39 million in revenue and $522 million in assets. The Hellman Foundation’s executive director Susan Hirsch claimed that the abortion giant’s new floorspace “will continue to set a national model for community rootedness, equity, and exceptional health care, education and advocacy,” according to SF Gate

Planned Parenthood, however, is an abortion-centered business with abortion as its “core mission,” and whose annual reports show that over half of the organization’s non-government funding comes from abortion. In contrast, thousands of community health centers across the country provide health services that actually help women and families in need, without the controversy of abortion.
