After her baby girl was stillborn at 24 weeks gestation, Anna Headly Brasic was devastated. She was scared, though, to share certain images of her daughter Cayden Avery on Facebook out of “fear of being reported” and because she doesn’t “want the backlash.” Imagine being afraid to share images of your precious child out of fear of what people — perhaps some even your friends on social media — might say to you and about you. Now Brasic is breaking her silence.
“… [T]he more I’m seeing things about how an unborn baby ‘is not a baby’ the more I was compelled to share it,” she wrote in an emotional Facebook post shared by Nurses&Midwives4Life Ireland. “And please feel free to share because people need to see the truth!”
The images of baby Cayden are heartbreaking. Losing her is devastation no parent should ever have to face, yet children like her are voluntarily killed in the womb in the name of false freedom every day. Lives lost, and mothers left childless by “choice.” Brasic says that at 24 weeks, Cayden “was already responding to my voice, kicking me when she was uncomfortable, had her own fingerprints, finger and toenails, and she sure as heck felt pain.” She goes on to describe her daughter’s last moments to show that preborn children are aware.
“Her last moments were violently thrashing as I learned later she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck twice,” said Brasic. “As the oxygen was cut off to her brain she thrashed violently for several minutes in my belly for relief. I’ve had 3 pregnancies, once with twins and I’d never felt that kind of thrashing- ever. She definitely felt the pain.”

Brasic rushed to the hospital but it was too late to save her baby girl. Now she hopes that by sharing Cayden’s pictures, she can help save other preborn babies from being purposefully killed through abortion.
Babies born as early as 21 weeks have survived and thrived with medical help. Yet, at 24 weeks gestation, abortion is still legal, and abortionists typically use one specific method to kill these viable children: dismemberment. Former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino describes a Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) abortion in the video below:
Researchers and doctors know that children at this age feel pain, which is evident by physicians’ use of anesthesia on preborn children during prenatal surgery. Some also think that preborn children can feel pain as early as eight weeks, and can even feel it more intensely than adults do.
Brasic, like all advocates for preborn human beings, has had enough of the voluntary torture and killing of an entire group of humans for what amounts to mostly socioeconomic reasons.
“They ARE BABIES and the DO feel PAIN! This is NOT part of YOUR body[…],” she said. “This is your child.”
