Woman shares images of miscarried baby to show humanity of life at 10 weeks

A woman shared precious photos of her miscarried child on Facebook on October 8, 2020, in order to show the world the humanity of preborn children at 10 weeks gestation.

“14 years ago today this beautiful baby of mine was due. Although she was born far too early (April 1, 2006) due to health issues (possibly spina bifida or gastroschisis) she was still perfectly whole,” wrote Brandy Hogue Plunkett.

“I feel like this is an incredible time to bring up the fact that anyone looking at this photo can easily tell this IS a baby,” she continued. “This is what any baby would resemble at only 10 weeks. 10 fingers, 10 toes, eyes, ears and nose.”

Plunkett thanked the photographer who took the photos, saying she still cherishes them after 14 years and they are “the most valuable gifts of my life.”

Spina bifida is a condition in which the closing of the spine and the membranes around the spinal cord due not completely close during development. There are different severities of the condition, but in recent years doctors have discovered that surgery performed during a specific window of pregnancy has more success in helping individuals with spina bifida to have the ability to walk than surgery after birth does. Spina bifida occurs early in pregnancy because development in the womb happens much more quickly than women have been led to believe by the abortion industry and its media allies.

At 10 weeks, which is the last week of pregnancy for which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved use of the abortion pill, the baby can swallow, form fists, and suck her thumb. According to The Endowment for Human Development, she can bend her hips and knees, stretch, and open her mouth. Her nose and lips are completely formed and her sex is determinable. Between weeks nine and 10, her weight will have increased by 75%.

At this gestational age, abortion is typically committed in one of two ways. The first is through the abortion pill, which, as seen in the video above, deprives the preborn child of nutrients until she dies and then a second pill causes contractions that expel her from her mother’s uterus. The effects of the abortion pill (mifepristone) may be reversed if a woman seeks out Abortion Pill Reversal before taking the second pill in the regimen (misoprostol).

The second method is a D&C abortion in which the preborn child is suctioned out of the uterus with a suction machine that has a force 10 to 20 times more powerful than a household vacuum. As explained by former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino in the video below, any pieces of the child that may remain are then scraped out of the uterus.

Preborn babies at 10 weeks are just as human and worthy of life as born humans. Their humanity is not dependent on their location or their abilities. Plunkett’s baby proves that children at this age are not merely tissue to dispose of without a second thought. Abortion is an act of violence against living human beings and it must end.
