Baby Olivia Laws Continue To Succeed Across the Nation
Both Indiana and Iowa will ensure students learn about the beauty of life in the womb.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Live Action, one of the nation’s leading human rights organizations, celebrates the governors of Iowa and Indiana, respectively, signing Baby Olivia laws.
Idaho, Tennessee, North Dakota, and Kansas have passed similar laws, while 18 other states introduced similar legislation this year.
Baby Olivia, an animated video showing each stage of embryonic development in the womb, would be one resource that could be used to fulfill the new state requirements.
Lila Rose, founder and president of Live Action, released the following statement:
“The passage and signing of Baby Olivia laws in Indiana and Iowa mark a historic triumph for education, truth, and the sanctity of human life. This legislation ensures that students in these states will see medically accurate, visually compelling educational materials in public school including resources like Live Actions ‘Baby Olivia’ video, which illustrates the humanity of the preborn child from the earliest stages of development. Indiana and Iowa are the fifth and sixth states respectively to add fact based education on human development in the womb to state education standards, joining Idaho, Kansas, Tennessee , and North Dakota.
I call on Indiana and Iowa and every state across the nation to build on this foundation with bold policies that further protect the preborn and support mothers and families, creating a culture where every life is embraced and every child is protected .”
Live Action released Baby Olivia in 2021. This beautiful depiction of life in the womb is medically and scientifically accurate and has been reviewed by medical experts.
