Whistleblower: StemExpress violated FedEx policies against shipping human remains

Holly O'Donnell StemExpress

The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released the sixth in its latest series of videos featuring former StemExpress fetal procurement technician, Holly O’Donnell, exposing some of the unethical and illegal practices involved in the harvesting of body parts from aborted children at abortion facilities like Planned Parenthood.

In this video, O’Donnell explains how StemExpress violated FedEx policies by shipping aborted body parts from Planned Parenthood, according to a CMP November 28 press release, which states, “The FedEx Service Guide Terms and Conditions state: ‘You are prohibited from tendering the following items for shipment, and you agree not to do so:’ listing, ‘Human corpses, human body parts, human embryos, or cremated or disinterred human remains’ under ‘Prohibited Items.'”

CMP’s press release describes more of O’Donnell’s eyewitness testimony:

“The guy behind the counter kinda is looking at her funny, and she goes, ‘I want to ship this here,’” recounts O’Donnell. “And he looks at her and says, ‘What’s in the package?’ and she goes, ‘Um, does it matter?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, ‘cause I know what’s in that package. I’m not shipping it.’”

When O’Donnell asked her supervisor why FedEx was refusing to ship the aborted fetal parts, she says her supervisor replied, “Oh, because he know’s what’s in here, you’re technically not supposed to ship body parts,” and then told O’Donnell: “I’ve got to go all the way across town to go to a different FedEx and drop this off,” apparently as a way to trick a different FedEx branch into shipping the body parts against their services agreement with StemExpress.

In the video, O’Donnell says, “Some of the tissues we weren’t able to procure because they were already dead tissue…. NFT, no fetal heart tones — we can’t use that. It’s technically dead tissue…. There were a couple times where I’d have a specimen… and the medical assistant would say, ‘You can’t use this one, this is a NFT…”

CMP’s David Daleiden summed up, saying, “So at StemExpress, you could only procure from fetuses who had been alive right before the abortion.” O’Donnell replied, “Yes.”

This corroborates the revelations in another of CMP’s undercover videos, which featured abortionist Carolyn Westhoff, the Senior Medical Advisor for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, stating on film that the aborted body parts from her clinic were “fresh,” not frozen. In the first two and a half minutes of this video, Westhoff tells an undercover Daleiden, “We’ve just been working with people who want particular tissues, like, you know, they want cardiac, or they want eyes, or they want neural. People want spinal cords, so I mean, that sort of thing. Certainly, everything we provide–oh, gonads! Oh my God, gonads. Everything we provide is fresh.”

Westhoff has defended partial-birth (D&X) abortions and has testified to committing D&E abortions without using a feticide — a drug that, when used off-label, kills a preborn child by causing cardiac arrest, and which also renders any fetal tissue useless to researchers.
