Timothy Cardinal Dolan, archbishop of New York, will be the main celebrant at a Mass in New York City marking the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The Mass service will take place at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, located at 5th Avenue and 50th Street, at 7am.

The service is sponsored by the Pro Life Commission of the Archdiocese. At the Mass, those gathered plan to pray for a restoration of the legal protection of unborn children and for healing for those suffering from abortion.

Following the Mass will be a rosary procession and witness for life starting at 7:30am. This event is sponsored by Helpers of God’s Precious Infants.
