Former Planned Parenthood sex educator warns about the sexualization of children

Monica Cline worked as a family planning Training Manager and volunteer educator for Planned Parenthood for over 10 years. But since leaving the corporation, she has been blowing the whistle on how the abortion giant sexualizes children and grooms them to be future abortion clients.

When Cline was working for Planned Parenthood, she said the goal was not to educate children about sex, but to encourage it with the use of contraceptives. The end goal was to prepare teens to have abortions at Planned Parenthood if they became pregnant. When she began questioning if this teaching helped or hurt children, she was rebuffed and told that if she wasn’t pro-abortion, she didn’t belong. Cline left Planned Parenthood, and is now pro-life.

Since then, she’s been trying to warn parents of what their children are being taught through sex education from Planned Parenthood. Her most recent interview was with EWTN, where she spoke about the sexualization of children on the heels of the Iowa Supreme Court decision allowing the state to deny sex ed funding to the abortion corporation.

Cline said she studied the Iowa curriculum and found troubling information. “I went ahead and looked into the programs they were implementing in Iowa,” she said. “I was looking at the research findings and all of them were shown that they had very little positive results or no effects or even at times adverse effects, due to these types of interventions on the children.”

The curriculum also did not promote abstinence as an option for children at all. “These programs are created to teach children about sexuality in order for them to become sexually active,” she explained, adding, “These programs are about sexualizing children and leading them to abortion. That is what sex education is. Comprehensive sexuality education is all about grooming children, and using it as a marketing tool to lead to abortion.”

Early in her career, Cline said she was told in her training to accept the idea that children as young as 10 were already sexually active — and that if they weren’t, they would be soon. “They believe that abstinence is laughable. They see parents as a barrier to service, because they know parents are going to protect them, and that’s actually something they told me they wanted to keep parents out of the picture,” she said. “So when we’re talking about the breakdown of the family, it begins with sex education.”

Children, Cline explained, are taught to dehumanize first themselves, and then their preborn children. It’s something she’s been speaking out about for a long time.

“The sex education grooms them for promiscuity. Grooms them for STD treatment, and grooms them for abortion,” she said in a previous interview. “Teens are being given false ideas that condoms will cover all the bases,” she continued. “They do tell them to get tested and treated – which means coming back to the clinic – and if they are pregnant they are encouraged to get an abortion.”
