(JillStanek.com) In a July 30 interview with Christianity Today, David Daleiden, leader of the Planned Parenthood-upending pro-life group Center for Medical Progress, made a direct point which all four of his videos released to date have been leading up to:
Planned Parenthood’s understanding of that law is very clear. It is not legal in any way for people to be profiting from the sale of aborted baby parts. But that is exactly what Planned Parenthood does. And you can see it in our video evidence that we have released so far.
They set their price per specimen—which is per aborted baby or baby part. The amount of money they received for those body parts far exceeds any real or imagined costs they have in supplying them.
Planned Parenthood doesn’t do shipping or packaging—all of that is handled by the middleman biotech companies that they sell to. And those groups sent all of their own people in to handle all the processing of the specimens.
So Planned Parenthood does nothing, yet they still are receiving $50, $75, or $100 per specimen. So they are clearly selling fetal tissue for valuable consideration and for a profit – and that is very clearly against the law.
After an abortion, Planned Parenthood employees take individually ziplocked or bucketed aborted babies to their clinic’s “procurement room.”
From that point on, technicians sent from fetal tissue purchasing companies like StemExpress take over. One of StemExpress’s former employees, Holly O’Donnell, described her job in CMP video #3.
These technicians examine the dismembered or intact babies in a petri dish under a light and separate out ordered body parts, such as itemized in this email from StemExpress to O’Donnell and others, dated March 20, 2013. The screenshot below shows a request from that email for an intact (misspelled on form) calvarium – or complete head – of an 8+ week-old baby….
The more body parts they “procure,” the more money StemCell technicians earn. StemExpress outlines its bonus structure in this January 1, 2013, memo:
StemExpress technicians handle all packaging and shipping, and StemExpress reimburses for any expenses involved with that. From the same linked memo above (“contractor” being technician)…
In video #2, Dr. Mary “Lamborghini” Gatter, Medical Director for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles and President of the Planned Parenthood Medical Director’s Council, corroborated the fact that no extra work or expense is required on the part of Planned Parenthood, in this case with the tissue procurement company Novogenix (beginning at 1:46 on the video)…
In actuality, it could be argued that Planned Parenthoods actually save money by “donating” baby parts, because they don’t have to pay for packaging and disposing of these aborted babies.
Yet, as Deborah Nucatola, Senior Director of Medical Services for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, indicated (and she should know, right?)…
