Planned Parenthood annual report shows more spending on its explicit ‘sex ed’

Planned Parenthood’s most recent annual report, which revealed a record-breaking 400k abortions for 2023-24, also shows a significant increase in spending on programs related to sex education.

According to Planned Parenthood’s 2023-24 annual report, spending on sex education programs was up more than 10% (approximately $6 million) from the prior year’s reporting, with yearly increases since 2021-22. This equates to almost $60 million spent for the year and raises Planned Parenthood’s spending on sex education by $166 million since 2021-22.

In 2019, Live Action News reported on whistleblower testimony that confirmed the disturbing intentions behind Planned Parenthood’s sex ed programs: to sexualize children and groom young girls to create lifelong customers for abortions. Live Action News has reported that over 100 studies on comprehensive sex-ed programs in the U.S. revealed that they “led to increases in promiscuity and risky sexual behavior along with their attendant consequences, including ‘increased pregnancies, STDs, … [number of] sex partners, increases in forced sex/rape, and increases in paid sex’.”

Planned Parenthood also promotes its sex ed programs as ‘gender affirming’ and ‘inclusive’. Recently, Live Action uncovered the disturbing reality of Planned Parenthood’s willingness to prescribe minors cross-sex hormones, which can have harmful impacts that may be irreversible.

Planned Parenthood also reported that 409k Roo chatbot sessions took place in 2023-24. Though this is a decrease from over 600k reported in the previous year, this brings the total number of Roo chatbot conversations to over 1.2 million since 2021. Roo is Planned Parenthood’s allegedly “non-judgmental” 24/7 sex-ed chatbot, which is reportedly run by employees who “care about the health and welfare of teens.” Recently, Live Action News highlighted the questions which the chatbot gives users as prompts, including, “How much does the abortion pill cost?”, “Does watching gay porn mean you’re gay?”, and “When do I know what pronouns to use?” Roo also suggests educational videos to users, such as “What is Virginity?” which claims that the concept is made up, and stating that having sex gives a person “… self insight, pleasure and empowerment.”

Planned Parenthood reported 903k views of its often explicit ‘educational’ videos in 2023-24, bringing the total reported number of views to over 6.3 million since 2021-22.

While receiving nearly $800 million in taxpayer funds, $46.9 million was spent on advocacy in 2023-24, bringing the total to over $186 million spent by Planned Parenthood to advocate for the killing of preborn children, the removal of parental rights, and pro-abortion, graphic sexual indoctrination through its sex ed programs since 2021-22.

One thing is certain: at a time when Americans seek to defund Planned Parenthood, the substantial increase of government funding to Planned Parenthood continues to fuel more abortions every year, and more indoctrination of its future customers through its ‘sex-miseducation’.
