With all the talk of defunding Planned Parenthood and in turn routing that half a billion dollars annually to Federally Qualified Health Centers, many may be asking, “What is a Federally Qualified Health Center, anyway?”
Students for Life has a new video explaining the role of an FQHC, and why funneling Planned Parenthood’s current funding to FQHCs would benefit far more people who really need it:
Federally Qualified Health Centers outnumber Planned Parenthood facilities 20 to 1, and there are more than 13,000 FQHCs in the United States.
