Planned Parenthood’s involvement in the upcoming presidential election is not limited to their endorsement of Hillary Clinton. The abortion giant will reportedly also be registering voters at abortion facilities.
LifeSite News reports that Planned Parenthood officials plan to set up voter registration tables outside their own clinics, and will target potential voters on college campuses and through its website.
On its website, under the heading “My Vote My Voice,” Planned Parenthood encourages visitors to “participate in our democracy.” The nation’s largest abortion chain has endorsed Hillary Clinton, who has vocalized opposition to the Hyde Amendment, which blocks abortion from being paid for by taxpayer dollars.

“While Planned Parenthood’s campaign is supposed to be ‘non-partisan,’ we know full well that the goal of Planned Parenthood and its allies is to benefit Hillary Clinton’s election,” said Arina Grossu of the Family Research Council. “Planned Parenthood endorsed Hillary Clinton, because it would benefit greatly from a Clinton win, given that she is the most extreme candidate in support of abortion in U.S. history.”
Planned Parenthood argues that they are seeking to benefit poor communities and minorities. “Our purpose is to engage historically disenfranchised communities,” said Planned Parenthood’s Erin Carhart. As Live Action News has extensively covered, Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, did indeed seek to “engage” minorities – though perhaps not in the way the abortion giant would have voters believe. Baltimore Ravens tight end Ben Watson recently discussed his view of Planned Parenthood’s “engagement” of minorities in an interview with Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center.
“… [H]onestly the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and [Margaret] Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks, and it’s kind of ironic that it’s working,” said Watson. “We are buying it hook, line, and sinker, like it’s a great thing… abortion saddens me, period; but it seems to be something that is really pushed on minorities and provided to minorities especially as something that they should do.”
As Live Action News recently reported, researchers from the University of North Carolina (Charlotte) found that minorities are impacted significantly by abortion:
… [W]hen added back into death statistics, abortion accounted for just 16.4% of white deaths, but 61.1% of black deaths and 64% of Hispanic deaths— more than three and four times, respectively— the latter ethnic groups’ combined death tolls “from all diseases of the heart and malignant neoplasms.”
They further found that “for Hispanic[s] and blacks, abortion deaths were 79.3 and 57.5 times the number of homicide deaths, respectively.”
Dr. Kenyn Cureton of the Family Research Council told LifeSite News that he believes a counter-effort is necessary: “If Planned Parenthood leaders are encouraging their constituents to vote, certainly pastors and church leaders should do the same if we ever hope to protect human life in our laws.”
