Planned Parenthood ends the lives of more than 400,000 preborn human beings every year (over 1,000 daily), dispenses “gender-affirming care” and cross sex hormones — even to minors — sometimes even upon first visit, and has for years infiltrated (and helped its partner organizations to infiltrate) school classrooms with pro-abortion ideology and sexually graphic “comprehensive sex education” curricula.
It does all of this while receiving nearly $800 million taxpayer dollars annually.
Across the nation, thousands of individuals at well over 100 Defund Day locations will demonstrate at 10:00 a.m. local time on June 28th against the use of taxpayer dollars to support Planned Parenthood’s lethal ideology, which has harmed women, men, minors, and preborn children.
Though the U.S. House has already voted on the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” (a budget reconciliation bill) that includes the defunding of Planned Parenthood, the bill is now with the Senate, which is expected to vote before July 4.

The Backstory:
For nearly two decades, Live Action has exposed Planned Parenthood’s deception and willingness to break the law regarding abortion, reporting of the sexual abuse of minors, and more. Most recently, Live Action exposed the corporation’s willingness to offer life-altering hormones to minors.
As Live Action News reported in May 2025, immediately after Live Action released an undercover investigation showing how easy it is for minors to obtain cross-sex hormones from Planned Parenthood, the corporation called the investigation a “smear campaign” that sought to “question the high medical standards of Planned Parenthood health centers.”
But the corporation failed to deny what the investigation revealed, stating that “Planned Parenthood health centers provide gender-affirming care that is age-appropriate and informed by expert clinical standards — with compassion and without judgment.”
Despite the assertion that Planned Parenthood has “high medical standards,” Live Action’s undercover investigator stated that despite calling “dozens of [Planned Parenthood] clinics” posing as a 16-year-old, the staff “never once referred me to counseling or asked if I’d talked to my parents. They just wanted to schedule me right away and get me on hormones. They didn’t question anything, even when I told them I had just decided last week. That consistency across states was the most shocking part.”
