Planned Parenthood has lost over 400,000 clients since 2006

Planned Parenthood has lost over 400,000 clients since undercover investigations into the abortion giant began to intensify in 2006, based on numbers from their own annual reports.

The number of clients to Planned Parenthood dropped from 3.1 million in 2006, when Live Action began to investigate the abortion giant, to 2.7 million in 2013.

The pro-life group has unearthed numerous abuses and lawbreaking within America’s largest abortion chain.
Over the years, Live Action has exposed lawbreaking, cover-up, and manipulation within Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. Undercover investigations show how the organization is willing to cover up statutory rape, and perform infanticide, gendercide and abortions based on race. The abortion business was even caught aiding and abetting child sex traffickers.

Undercover tapes also reveal Planned Parenthood’s long history of deception, such as making false mammogram claims.

Recently, the Center for Medical Progress released tapes detailing the abortion giant’s role in the trafficking of aborted baby parts. The videos exposing the abortion giant’s illegal profiteering sent shockwaves across the country, and detail another way that Planned Parenthood breaks the law.

Although Planned Parenthood claims it is necessary for women’s health, the conglomerate has also steadily cut health care services through the years, but increased the number of abortions.

When comparing the two most recent annual reports, “Cancer Screening and Prevention Services” are down by 17 percent; contraception services have also dropped.

Services overall were down from 10,933,675 to 10,590,433, and yet the amount of abortions Planned Parenthood performed increased.

Planned Parenthood’s 2009-2010 annual report mentions the abortion business “saw approximately three million people,” as do reports until 2012.  In the 2012-2013 annual report, Planned Parenthood admitted it will see, with added emphasis, “nearly three million people.”

The most recent figure, however, is 2.7 million, detailed in the 2013-2014 annual report.

Despite the excitement from supporters of Planned Parenthood over this 2.7 million figure, it clearly is not very remarkable considering it shows a steady decline.

While the abortion business continues to see a drop in clientele, the number of comprehensive health clinics outnumber abortion mills 20 to 1. Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) offer holistic health services for women, and serve low-income families.

In order to better serve women, it makes sense to fund 13,540 centers over Planned Parenthood’s 669 abortion facilities. It makes more sense to help 21.1 million people over 2.7 million.
