‘Most damning’ baby body parts videos yet will release if gag order lifted

baby body parts, Daleiden, Planned Parenthood, CMP, Center for Medical Progress

The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) and its lead, David Daleiden, have filed three motions in San Francisco federal court, asking for the dismissal of a lawsuit from the National Abortion Federation (NAF), along with the dissolution of a gag order that is preventing some as-yet-unseen undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood leaders negotiating the sale of aborted baby body parts.

The case has garnered headlines for three years now, ever since NAF panicked at CMP’s exposure of its secret activities showing the underbelly of the abortion industry. In an interesting twist, Daleiden stated that early in summer (emphasis added)…

NAF came to us asking to settle the case, if only we would agree to a permanent injunction on the videos. Of course, I and CMP told them no way — drop it and bear your own costs. Shortly thereafter, last month NAF willingly dropped 7 out of their 11 charges — including all of their claims under federal law, and all of their unlawful video recording claims. All that remains is just a few simple contract disputes, which the entire gag order hangs on.

Contract disputes have no place in federal court, CMP says, and it’s time for the charade to end now that there are no more federal claims in the lawsuit. In a statement, CMP said:

Three years ago, Planned Parenthood’s abortion doctors with the National Abortion Federation stormed into federal court demanding a gag order over the most damning undercover footage. Now they have largely retreated, dropping all of their federal claims and allegations of unlawful video recording, leaving only a simple contract dispute between fellow Californians. Since the gag order was issued, two Congressional investigations, a successful case against Planned Parenthood’s business partners in southern California, and the ongoing U.S. Department of Justice investigation prove that CMP’s videos are accurate and Judge Orrick’s reasons for placing the gag order were false. This case should be thrown out of federal court, and the censored undercover videos must be released.

At the center of the courtroom controversy is Judge William Orrick, who has deep ties to Planned Parenthood, yet has refused to recuse himself and, instead, has granted the the NAF what it asked for, despite the obvious conflict of interest.

PJ Media reports that in a conference call with reporters, Daleiden said if the gag order is lifted…

You can expect probably a solid dozen more videos, really in the same vein as the original undercover video releases… NAF’s federal lawsuit was one of the first in federal court sought a federal gag order against the remaining undercover videos. This undercover footage has not seen the light of day. It includes some of the most damning and incriminating tapes that we ever recorded [about] the sale of aborted baby parts.

Those videos, he noted, could be released in October, which would be in step with the upcoming midterm election cycle. It’s clear that as hard as Planned Parenthood, the NAF, and others who are exposed through the videos try to deny wrongdoing and cover up truth, it’s coming out anyway. If these “most damning” of all tapes are released, the nation will again see the reality of abortion through the realization that baby body parts are more valuable to the abortion industry than living children.
