Chicago abortion business with history of injuries sends another woman to hospital

A Chicago abortion facility has sent yet another woman to the emergency room for an abortion complication.

According to Operation Rescue, a call requesting an ambulance was made by an unnamed physician assistant from Family Planning Associates in Chicago on October 25, 2023.

The staffer stated, “We have a patient who just underwent a surgical abortion with us, and she has a complication… we need to take her to Northwestern Hospital.”

No details were given over the phone about the nature of the complication, even though the 911 dispatcher asked for details of the situation.

“Is there bleeding?” the dispatcher asked.

“Umm, not heavy, no,” the PA responded.

“But there is bleeding?”

“There is bleeding but not much.”

“She’s awake, breathing, and talking ok?”

“Yes.”

The PA explained that the 23-year-old patient was “hemodynamically stable but needs to be transported to the hospital.”

The dispatcher was then instructed to have the ambulance pull around to the “loading dock” area to bypass the front entrance. It is unknown if this patient survived her injuries.

This particular abortion chain is well-known for its many calls for emergency transports to nearby hospitals. Complications often include lethal anesthesia administration, hemorrhaging, incomplete abortions, and further injury.

Abortion is lethal to a preborn child and risky for the mother, with risk increasing as pregnancy progresses. Based on research done by Operation Rescue, the Chicago abortion industry has a history of covering up abortion complications in local abortion facilities and the City of Chicago has defied requests to turn over 911 emergency audio files, including related to this specific abortion business. The federal Freedom of Information Act requires these to be available for public use once all identifying health information has been redacted.

The abortion industry goes to great lengths to hide the ugliness and dangers of abortion, and a complicit media rarely reports on abortion injuries. The abortion injuries that are known have largely been exposed by pro-lifers present outside the abortion facilities who are attempting to offer life-affirming choices to women seeking abortions.

The DOJ put a pro-life grandmother in jail this Christmas for protesting the killing of preborn children. Please take 30-seconds to TELL CONGRESS: STOP THE DOJ FROM TARGETING PRO-LIFE AMERICANS.
