Defund Day Demonstration Terms and Conditions

I hereby acknowledge, agree, and consent to the following, as a condition of my attendance and participation in Live Action’s (“Live Action”) Defund Day demonstration (“Event”).

1. The Event and related activities are taking place on June 28th, 2025. The Event and related activities will involve outdoor standing and walking at local Planned Parenthood facilities, which may include crowds, weather issues, hostile people advocating vigorously for abortion, and potential physical harm from such conditions.

2. I agree to cooperate with all directions provided at the Event, for my own safety and the safety of others. Such cooperation includes complying with any directions from Live Action staff, onsite facility personnel, police, or other law enforcement. I will refrain from any physical violence or other aggression except as may be warranted in my own self-defense and in my own judgment. I am sufficiently mature and physically able to attend the Event and participate in its activities. To the best of my knowledge, I have no physical condition that will be aggravated by the Event or that will impair my ability to participate in it.

3. I hereby release and discharge Live Action’s directors, officers, other volunteers, employees, and other agents and representatives (collectively “Live Action”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that I may hereafter have for injuries or damages arising out of my participation in the Event, except for Live Action’s gross negligence or intentional misconduct in connection with the Event.

4. I further agree not to sue or make claim against Live Action for damages or other losses sustained as a result of my participation in the Event, including but not limited to the above-listed risks. I also agree to indemnify and hold Live Action harmless from all claims, settlements, judgments and costs, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, and to reimburse Live Action for any expenses whatsoever incurred in connection with an action brought as a result of participating in the Event.

5. Further, I acknowledge the contagious nature of many health risks and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to such health risks as part of participating in the Event. I acknowledge that such risks may result from others’ actions, omissions, or negligence, including, but not limited to, Live Action employees, contractors, volunteers, and participants. I agree to assume all the foregoing risks, waive liability against Live Action and any other listed parties, and accept sole responsibility for any illness, injury, disability, or death, including all claims that may arise resulting from any of these, except for Live Action’s gross negligence or intentional misconduct. I also agree to comply with all applicable health-related restrictions.

6. I hereby give consent to Live Action to authorize treatment on my behalf in case of an emergency or illness. I agree to reimburse Live Action for any and all costs incurred for such care.

7. I hereby grant permission for the use of my name, photo, and/or video footage in connection with Live Action’s Event, including use on Live Action’s website. I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents.
