Annamarie Bettisworth is a pro life activist and executive director for the Live Action Bay Area chapter.  Anna has worked with Live Action for several years, but began pro life work in South Africa in 2006.  She is passionate about sidewalk counseling, but also loves educating and mobilizing young people to stand for preborn life.

At 15, Anna founded the American non-profit counterpart to an international Christian missions organization and enjoys working with missionaries from all over the world on a daily basis.  She is closely involved with her church, Home Church of Campbell, and is grateful for the church leaders that have invested in her life.

The words of Jesus Christ motivate Anna to stand for life, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25:40)  Anna is a current graduate student, and loves reading anything that does not have an assignment attached.  In her free time, she loves ice-skating, wakeboarding, and playing with her nine nieces and nephews.
